This curated list of my favorite air fryer accessories reflects what someone who uses an air fryer every day might want. Over the past three years of using an air fryer as part of a healthier lifestyle, I’ve discovered accessories I reach for again and again. Below I describe the models I use, what I like about them, and the accessories I recommend to get the most from your air fryer.

About the Air Fryers I Personally Use
We currently own four different air fryers. Each has strengths and a few limitations, so I test recipes across multiple machines before sharing them. The one I use most often is the Power Air Fryer Oven because of its versatility and capacity—it comfortably serves 2–6 people without multiple batches.
The 6-Quart Power Air Fryer Oven
What I appreciate most about the Power Air Fryer Oven is its ability to handle many functions well: air frying, baking, dehydrating, roasting, and reheating leftovers. It’s a workhorse for family-sized meals and recipe testing.
Accessories It Comes With
- Two flat stainless-steel airflow racks
- One recessed (“sunken”) stainless-steel airflow rack
- Stainless-steel rotating basket
- Rotisserie rod with meat forks to secure roasts and whole chickens
- Kabob rack with stainless-steel skewers
- Nonstick drip tray
This is the air fryer I use most often.
Additional accessories I find useful with this oven-style air fryer:
- Perforated parchment liners (or a DIY perforated parchment option)
- Full-size and small silicone-tipped tongs
- Pinch mitts for handling hot trays
- Silicone bakeware—note: some pieces may need slight modification to fit on racks
- Reusable silicone muffin liners
- Silicone scone pan
- 4-hole silicone donut pan
- Silicone muffin or egg-bite molds
- “Toaster oven” bakeware sized for compact ovens:
- 6-hole muffin pan designed for compact or toaster ovens
- Small cookie sheets sized for compact ovens
- Small crisper tray sized for compact ovens
- Small pizza stones that fit your oven cavity
- Kitchen twine for trussing roasts or poultry
- A reliable meat thermometer for checking doneness
The 3- & 6-Quart NuWave Brio Drawer-Style Air Fryers
These drawer-style models have a basket built into the drawer and perform basic air fryer functions: air frying, baking, dehydrating, roasting, and reheating. They’re compact and handy for smaller households or quick batches.
Additional Accessories I Find Useful in Drawer-Style Air Fryers
- Small tongs for turning food inside the basket
- 6–7 inch bakeware that fits inside the drawer
- Silicone bakeware, which may need slight trimming to fit inside the basket
- 4-hole silicone muffin or egg-bite molds
- 4-hole metal muffin pans that fit the drawer
The Mealthy CrispLid Air Fryer Accessory
The Mealthy CrispLid is a crisping lid that converts many 6- and 8-quart electric pressure cookers with stainless-steel liners into an air fryer-style appliance. It adds crisping, baking, dehydrating, roasting, and reheating abilities to your pressure cooker, expanding what you can make with one pot.
Accessories It Comes With
- The crisping lid itself
- Tall stainless-steel trivet
- 7-inch stainless-steel frying basket
- Pair of silicone-tipped tongs
- Silicone trivet for setting the hot lid down safely
Additional Accessories I Find Useful
- 6–7 inch bakeware that already fits Instant Pot-style inserts—you can use the same pieces with the CrispLid
Cleaning Tools I Find Helpful for All of My Air Fryers
- Circular scrub brush for cleaning racks and baskets
- An old toothbrush for getting into crevices and vent areas
