Hawaiian Roll Pizza Sliders Recipe – Sweet Ham & Pineapple Bites

These Hawaiian Roll Pizza Sliders are always the first thing to go on the potluck table. Make them ahead and bake just before serving for an easy crowd-pleaser.Hawaiian Roll Pizza Sliders Recipe

The soft, slightly sweet Hawaiian rolls are what make these pizza sliders irresistible. The herby garlic-butter glaze on top only adds to the appeal, but the tender, pillowy bread really steals the show.

If you prefer, you can substitute plain dinner rolls for the Hawaiian rolls and still get excellent results. These sliders are very forgiving and adapt well to different breads and toppings.

The recipe is ideal for prepping ahead. Assemble the sliders, cover, refrigerate for up to 24 hours, and bake when you’re ready to serve. Instructions for make-ahead baking are included in the recipe card below.

Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
Servings: 12 sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 package Hawaiian sweet rolls (12 count)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce (your favorite)
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 24 pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Coat a 9×13-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Slice the rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in the pan in a single layer.
  3. Spread pizza sauce over the bottoms, sprinkle with mozzarella, and top with pepperoni. Place the roll tops back on.
  4. Stir together melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and Parmesan. Pour evenly over the tops of the rolls.
  5. Bake uncovered for about 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.

Chef’s Notes:

You can assemble these sliders up to 24 hours in advance. Cover the pan with foil and refrigerate. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake covered for 10 minutes, then uncover and bake another 10 minutes or until golden and the cheese is melted.
