My son turned 15 earlier this year. I can’t believe how fast he’s growing up — now he’s getting ready to learn to drive. When his older sister began driver’s education, she told us most of her friends were using Aceable on their phones.

We recently visited the DPS office where he received his official learner’s license. One feature I appreciate is that, in Texas, the written test can be taken directly in the Aceable app. That avoided a potentially stressful trip to the DPS just for the written exam.
Parent-Taught Driver’s Education
Aceable supports parent-taught driver’s education by supplying all the materials parents need to teach their teens. The app includes checklists, guidance on how to download the state-required parent packet from the DPS website, and the logging forms to track driving hours.
In Texas, the program requires a specific number of supervised driving hours, but teens can progress at their own pace. There’s no rush to finish. The parent-taught format is valuable because it allows you to directly observe what your teen is learning and monitor their progress. As their skill and confidence grow behind the wheel, you gain greater assurance they can drive safely.
